JILLY'S CUPCAKERY | OUR STORY
Our story begins with a dream. Our family has been talking for many years of starting some kind of business. For us our family is everything.  Family gatherings have always been a number one priority in our lives.  When family gatherings do come around it usually means the enjoyment of food, especially dessert!  Baking has become a unique way of expressing our love. Many of the recipes that we use for our cupcakes have been a direct result of a family celebration or a special occasion. (Coconut, Birthday Cake and Ultimate Chocolate)
 
Jill and her mom have always enjoyed baking together since Jill was a little girl. So when trying to decide on what type of family business to pursue it didn’t take long to come up with the idea of a cupcake store. What did take some time was deciding when to actually make it happen. So with dad’s backing, mom’s love of cooking, Josh’s experience in the restaurant business, Jeff’s willingness to taste test all recipes and Jill set with her business degree everything seem to point that now was the time of Jilly’s Cupcakery, to begin.
 
Not wanting to start a business that would control their lives, but one that would compliment their lifestyle, the guidelines for their business had to be different from other stores. The decision was made to not be open on Sundays. This way they would have at least one day a week that would be completely devoted for their own personal time of attending church and a day set aside for family time.  In keeping with the “family first” goal the decision was also made not to be open on major holidays.

Lastly, it was vitally important that we provide a product that showed the commitment to quality along with a small expression of love. Because of this commitment we only use the finest and freshest ingredients. Our cupcakes are baked fresh everyday and anything that is not sold that day is donated to a local food charity.
 
Well that is the beginning of our dream. Where it will take us only time will tell, but one thing we will always have is our desire to continue to grow stronger each day as a family and to always remember that our love for God and family are the most important things in life!
